This year’s Holiday Hike is at Rock City at Mt. Diablo State Park. Planned hiking is about 2.6 miles, and moderate with a some heart thumping here and there. There are more trails in the area to explore, as well as the exploration of the area itself.
When: December 19
Time: Let’s meet at 9:30 AM
Where: Parking is here 37.850008, -121.933833 near Elephant Rock but limited, but there is also limited parking here 37.849017, -121.933108 and here 37.848419, -121.931901. There is other parking in the area, such as pull outs. We will meet at the first parking coordinates since that is where the trail heads are, along with picnic tables. There are restrooms, but not immediately where we will be.
It’s $10 to enter the park.

Remember, you will have to hike the weight in and back out of what you bring.
